Not sure if you have noticed, but I am a huge LOTR nerd. I was introduced to The Hobbit in 8th grade, then I read the LOTR trilogy my freshmen year of high school. After that I actually made it all the way through The Silmarillion (I think only 4 people alive have ever made it through that book…there are some SLOW parts to it).
