Mahler is in my top 5 composers of all time. Just really good stuff all around. I wonder, though, if there were video games around when he lived if he would have written as much music- or even as good a music- as he did.
I like video games- I’m not the biggest fan- but I like them. However, since I started drawing this comic it seems like that every time I think about playing a video game the thought of “Or I could get ahead and draw another comic” runs through my head. So, I haven’t played hardly any video games at all since drawing this comic.
The thing I always go back to is about 5 or 6 years ago (or whenever it first came out) I played The Sims. After about a week I thought, “Why am I doing this? Why am I trying to accomplish this on here when I haven’t even done that in real life?” From that point on I tend to question if there is anything else that I can better spend my time on when I consider playing video games. I play from time to time because it is nice to do every once in a while, but I don’t play that much anymore at all.
